OUR EARLS COURT PRACTICE

Twenty-three years on the same street.

The Art of Healing has stood at 282 Earls Court Road since 2002 — long enough to have treated children who first came in as infants, and grandchildren of those original patients. The clinic has grown from one room with one osteopath to a multidisciplinary team.

What hasn't changed is the way we work: hands-on examination, same-day treatment, no two appointments handled the same. Whether you are seeing us for chronic spinal pain for a reflux baby, the room you walk into has been making people better, by hand, for two decades.

Earls Court station is six minutes' walk. Off-street parking is available within five minutes. We are on the ground floor with direct streetside access.

The Team in Earls Court

Seven practitioners in residence.

Our central clinic in Earls Court houses all our treatment modalities including IDD therapy. Here are the team members based here offering treatment.

Why Us

Four things that haven't changed.

Earls Court is where the practice started, and where our Clinical Director still treats. A great deal has changed in two decades — the team, the technology, the second clinic. These four haven't.

Treatment starts on day one.

You won't be booked in for an assessment and sent away to come back for the treatment. Where it's clinically safe to do so, we examine and treat in the same appointment — so the first thing you feel is progress, not a waiting list. It's how this clinic has worked since it opened.

A plan written for you, not your diagnosis.

Two people with the same scan result rarely need the same treatment. Your plan is built around your history, your work and what you actually need to get back to — and it carries on between visits. You'll have your practitioner's direct contact details, because recovery rarely keeps to appointment times.

One appointment, whatever it takes.

Osteopathy, physiotherapy, medical acupuncture, dry needling and the technology on site can all be brought into a single session. Which of them you get is decided clinically, in the room — never by what costs more. There's no premium tier here, and nothing is held back for an upsell.

Seven days, before or after work.

We're open 8am to 9pm every day, a short walk from Earls Court station. That's deliberate — the people who most need treatment are usually the ones who can least afford an afternoon off. If the online diary looks full, call 020 3146 6755; we hold flexibility the booking system doesn't show.
TREATMENT OPTIONS

What we reach for, and when.

Everything on this list is available at Earls Court, and which of it you need is decided by the person treating you rather than by a price list. Most plans draw on two or three in combination — which costs no more than using one.
Osteopathy

Osteopathy

First line for most presentations. We establish what's actually driving the pain before treating it, then work through joints, soft tissue and the movement habits holding it in place.
Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Comes in as the priority shifts from settling pain to rebuilding what you've lost. Graded loading, strength and return-to-sport work, with hands-on treatment running alongside rather than instead.
Acupuncture

Acupuncture

A separate track rather than a stage. Traditional Chinese medicine for presentations that aren't primarily mechanical — fertility support, digestion, sleep, and long-running stress.
Acupuncture

DRY NEEDLING

Not the same as acupuncture, despite the needles. A Western technique aimed squarely at trigger points, used inside a hands-on session when a muscle won't release any other way.
Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy

Sports, deep tissue, remedial and manual lymphatic drainage. Effective on its own, and useful between treatments to hold tissue quality while the main plan does its work.
Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy

For tendon problems that have stopped responding. Focused and radial, used on chronic tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, tennis and golfer's elbow, and bursitis that manual work alone hasn't shifted.
IDD Therapy

IDD Therapy

Where disc pain hasn't settled with manual treatment. Targeted decompression for herniation and stenosis, delivered as a course of sessions rather than a single appointment.
